A Port in Continual Development
Hammerfest in general - and the port in particular - have developed a wide range of maritime services, making the town a natural service centre for various industries in and around the Barents Sea.Close coopreation between the Port Authoroties, local authority and businesses are essential for development of such services, which is why we ran the "Gateway to the Barents Sea" project which paved the way for strengthening Hammerfest as the regional hub.
